Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is committed to expanding its presence in Greece, with plans to enhance its footprint in both established tourist hotspots and emerging markets across the country.

At the Resort & Residential Hospitality Forum (R&R) 2024 in Greece, the company revealed plans to announce at least one new partnership by the end of the year, with a particular focus on the Attica region.

Currently, Wyndham operates 13 properties in Greece, including three in Athens, two in Loutraki, and one each in Vravrona, Nea Makri, Thessaloniki, Halkidiki, Alexandroupoli, Corfu, Rhodes, and Crete. Additionally, the company has signed two major agreements in 2024, further expanding its portfolio in Greece.

One of these projects, in partnership with DKG Development Group, will see the launch of Wyndham Residences Piraeus Marina Zeas. This upscale development will feature 72 luxury serviced apartments with waterfront views, complemented by amenities such as a restaurant, gym, spa, and event spaces. Scheduled to open in December 2025, the property will be located near the picturesque Marina Zeas.

The second new venture, in collaboration with Oikos Property Developments, will introduce the first Ramada Residences by Wyndham to Greece, located in Halkidiki’s Municipality of Aristotle. With 150 full-service accommodations, this property is set to open in May 2026.

Greece’s tourism industry continues to thrive, welcoming 36 million international visitors in 2023, with projections to reach 37 million in 2024. Wyndham’s loyalty program, Wyndham Rewards, has also seen impressive growth, now boasting 112 million members globally—underscoring the company’s successful partnerships in Greece and its growing presence in the region.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchising company, operates nearly 9,200 hotels across more than 95 countries. With a portfolio of 25 brands and over 893,000 rooms, Wyndham serves the everyday traveler, offering a wide range of hospitality experiences.
