Wimberley, the heart of Texas Hill Country, is gearing up for a magical holiday season as it hosts its inaugural Hometown Holidays Celebration on November 30, 2024. This highly anticipated event will feature the Wishes for Wimberley Hometown Holidays Lighted Christmas Parade, bringing festive cheer and family fun to this charming town.
Magical Evening of Holiday Cheer
The celebration will begin at 5:00 PM with a tree-lighting ceremony at the beloved EmilyAnn Theatre & Gardens, where attendees can gather and enjoy the glowing festive atmosphere. Following the ceremony, at 6:00 PM, Santa Claus will lead the Lighted Christmas Parade starting at Lion’s Field and winding through downtown Wimberley, creating a magical holiday experience for families and visitors alike.
This year’s parade will showcase creatively lit floats, local organizations, and vibrant music, filling the streets with holiday cheer. After the parade, the evening will culminate in a second tree-lighting ceremony at the center of downtown, where Santa will take the stage to kick off a Toy Drive benefiting the Barnabas Connection, a local nonprofit that supports families in need.
