WestJet has unveiled its comprehensive summer schedule for 2025, highlighting a significant boost in connectivity for Nova Scotia. The airline is set to launch an exclusive service linking Sydney and Calgary, a move that promises to strengthen ties between Cape Breton and Alberta.

This new route will offer Cape Breton residents direct access to Western Canada, enhancing travel opportunities for both leisure and business. By connecting Sydney to Calgary, WestJet aims to cater to growing demand while supporting regional tourism and economic development.
