Volaris, Mexico’s largest airline, has launched new daily nonstop flights from Oakland Airport (OAK) to Los Cabos (SJD). Located at the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula, Los Cabos is home to the popular Mexican Riviera destinations of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. The inaugural flight was marked with a special event for passengers at the gate.

“Congratulations to Volaris on this exciting route addition at OAK,” said Port of Oakland Director of Aviation Craig Simon. “This new service makes travel to Cabo more convenient and affordable than ever for millions of Bay Area travelers.”

Daily flights between OAK and Los Cabos (SJD) will follow this schedule:

Southbound flights will depart OAK at 12:30 PM, arriving at SJD at 3:38 PM. Northbound flights will leave SJD at 5:09 PM, reaching OAK at 8:30 PM.

The new flight is operated by Volaris’ fleet of Airbus Neo aircraft. Passengers can choose from a wide range of onboard products, including premium seating, assigned seats, and a variety of food and beverage options available for purchase.
