Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) proudly unveils an ambitious promotional campaign in Germany, showcasing the Maldives as a premier travel destination. As part of ITB Berlin 2025, the campaign features 200 taxis in Berlin adorned with breathtaking visuals of the Maldives, marking one of Visit Maldives’ largest-ever outdoor marketing initiatives.
Running from February 7 to March 13, the campaign strategically aligns with the Berlinale (Berlin International Film Festival) and ITB Berlin, two iconic events anticipated to draw over 600,000 attendees. The taxis, showcasing stunning imagery and captivating messages, will traverse Berlin’s busiest streets, ensuring maximum visibility. Adding to the campaign’s impact, prominent billboards at the Berlinale will target film enthusiasts and global visitors during this cultural spectacle.
This large-scale initiative aims to significantly enhance brand visibility in one of the Maldives’ most important source markets. It represents a landmark moment in MMPRC’s promotional activities in Germany.
In addition to the outdoor campaign, Visit Maldives will actively engage with travel trade professionals and media at ITB Berlin through seminars, panel discussions, and participation in IMM Germany, an exclusive event for journalists and media representatives.
While the Networking Evening is set to take place at ITB Berlin, the renowned Maldivian Night has been rescheduled for the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 in Dubai, happening at the end of April. This comprehensive approach underscores Visit Maldives’ commitment to showcasing the destination’s unparalleled appeal to German travelers.
