Noida International Airport (NIA) has formalized a partnership with the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC) through a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing regional connectivity. This collaboration will introduce direct bus services from NIA to major destinations in Uttarakhand, including Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Haldwani, coinciding with the airport’s commercial launch.

The initiative reinforces NIA’s commitment to seamless multi-modal transportation, ensuring travelers can easily transition from air travel to road networks. Strategically positioned near the Yamuna Expressway, NIA provides effortless access to Noida, Delhi NCR, and key locations across Western Uttar Pradesh, further strengthening its role as a vital transportation hub.

During its initial phase, the airport will feature a single runway and terminal, with the capability to accommodate 12 million passengers annually. As the development progresses to its fourth phase, the airport’s capacity will expand significantly to handle 70 million passengers each year, solidifying its position as a pivotal transportation hub for the region.
