Finnair expands its codeshare with British Airways, enhancing UK connectivity and offering seamless travel from regional airports to Finland and beyond.
Finnair has strengthened its partnership with fellow oneworld alliance member British Airways, enhancing its network in the UK and opening access to new destinations in the Channel Islands and Gibraltar.
Under this expanded codeshare agreement, Finnair has added its flight code to seven additional British Airways domestic routes. This expansion offers travelers seamless connectivity to Finland and beyond, ensuring greater convenience.
Effective immediately, Finnair’s code is now included on British Airways flights connecting London Heathrow with Aberdeen, Belfast City, Gibraltar, Inverness, Jersey, Manchester, and Newcastle. This allows travelers to book these routes directly with Finnair, facilitating travel from regional airports to Heathrow before continuing with Finnair’s onward connections.
From Heathrow, travelers can access Finnair’s direct flights to Helsinki or explore an array of destinations across Lapland, the Nordics, and the Baltics, catering to a diverse range of travel interests.
This expanded collaboration introduces enhanced travel options for customers beyond Finnair’s existing UK gateways in London, Manchester, and Edinburgh. It positions the Nordic carrier to attract a broader customer base and provide improved access to its extensive network.
