Spearheaded by Commissioner of Tourism Joseph Boschulte, the USVI delegation engaged in strategic discussions focused on expanding air connectivity and fostering partnerships with key aviation stakeholders.
Expanding Air Access to Drive Tourism Growth
During the conference, the USVI team held high-level meetings with 19 major airline representatives, including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airways, JetBlue, and United Airlines. These discussions centered on unlocking new market opportunities, reinforcing existing routes, and developing strategies to mitigate seasonal fluctuations in travel demand.
A key objective of these negotiations was to position the USVI as a year-round destination by improving flight availability from high-demand regions. The delegation emphasized that enhanced air connectivity remains a critical factor in sustaining long-term tourism growth in the Territory.

Data-Driven Strategies and Future Collaborations
The USVI delegation leveraged market analytics and data-driven presentations to outline upcoming marketing initiatives, destination promotions, and cooperative advertising opportunities. Their strategic approach was met with enthusiasm from airline executives, who recognized the potential for increased collaboration to enhance flight accessibility to the Territory.
