In partnership with the Division of Festivals, the U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) Department of Tourism has officially set the dates for the 2025 St. Thomas Carnival. This much-anticipated cultural extravaganza will take place from April 27 to May 3, 2025, bringing a vibrant showcase of island heritage, music, and cuisine to the forefront.

Marking its 73rd edition, the festival promises a spectacular lineup of beloved traditions, including the Queen and Princess Pageants, Calypso Monarch competition, and the electrifying Pan-O-Rama steel band showcase. One of the most exhilarating highlights is the J’ouvert celebration, known for its infectious energy and pulsating rhythms. The grand finale will see Charlotte Amalie transform into a sea of color as thousands of revelers, dressed in elaborate costumes, dance their way down the two-mile parade route to the beats of soca and traditional Virgin Islands music.

Festivalgoers can immerse themselves in the electrifying atmosphere of the U.S. Virgin Islands with free nightly concerts at the Carnival Village, showcasing an impressive lineup of top-tier local, regional, and international performers. From pulsating rhythms to soulful melodies, the stage will be set for unforgettable musical experiences.

Beyond the beats, St. Thomas will put its vibrant culture on full display, featuring thrilling Carnival Boat Races, mouthwatering island cuisine, and an array of handcrafted treasures from talented local artisans at the Food Fair.
