Tui Cruises has officially taken delivery of its latest cruise ship, Mein Schiff Relax, marking a significant milestone for the company’s growing fleet. The handover took place at the Monfalcone shipyard in Italy, with shipbuilder Fincantieri and key stakeholders gathering to celebrate the momentous occasion.

This state-of-the-art vessel is the first in the new InTUItion Class, a concept designed to enhance passenger experience while integrating advanced environmental technologies. A joint venture between Tui and the Royal Caribbean Group, the cruise line is set to redefine sustainable cruising with Mein Schiff Relax and its forthcoming sister ship, expected to debut in mid-2026.

With a gross tonnage of 160,000, the vessel features a dual-fuel system, allowing it to operate on liquefied natural gas (LNG) and marine gas oil (MGO)—a step forward in reducing emissions and promoting greener maritime travel.

The delivery ceremony was attended by prominent figures from the Italian government, Fincantieri, and Tui Cruises. Among the distinguished guests were Luca Ciriani, Italy’s Minister for Relations with Parliament; Biagio Mazzotta, Chairman and CEO of Fincantieri; Wybcke Meier, CEO of Tui Cruises; and the ship’s captain, Tom Roth.

With Mein Schiff Relax now officially joining the Tui Cruises fleet, anticipation is high for its maiden voyages, where passengers can expect a premium experience blending comfort, innovation, and sustainability.
