TransNusa Aviation Mandiri is making a significant leap forward by doubling its flight frequency between Bali and Perth to 14 weekly services, responding to growing travel demand and strengthening connectivity between these two popular destinations. This bold expansion not only offers greater flexibility and convenience for travelers but also highlights TransNusa’s commitment to enhancing premium travel options within Southeast Asia and Australia.

PT TransNusa Aviation Mandiri, a trailblazer in Southeast Asia known for its full premium airline services, is significantly boosting its presence in Perth by increasing its Bali-Perth route frequency from seven to fourteen flights per week.

Datuk Bernard Francis, CEO of the TransNusa Group, revealed that ticket bookings for the additional flights opened yesterday.

“We will increase the frequency of flight in two phases. First phase will see TransNusa’s scheduled flights increasing from 7 times weekly to 11 times weekly. The additional four flights will be scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday,” he said, adding that the first phase will begin on July 2.

Datuk Francis revealed that in the next phase, TransNusa plans to boost its weekly scheduled flights from 11 to 14 starting July 18.

This update follows just over two months after TransNusa inaugurated its regular flights from Bali to Perth on March 20, 2025.

He also shared that TransNusa is committed to improving and expanding its services to provide passengers with greater comfort on every journey.

“The move to enhance our customer comfort is part of our plan to grow TransNusa as a secure and caring brand in line with our Premium Service Carrier status,” Datuk Francis explained.

TransNusa, traditionally known for offering Premium Service on its international routes and operating as a Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) domestically, has recently received approval from the Indonesian Aviation Authority to extend its Premium Service model to domestic flights as well.

This achievement is supported by several enhanced service features, including a cabin layout with fewer seats than typical LCCs, flexible ticket options that allow refunds on Seat Plus fares and unlimited changes on Flexi-Pro tickets, among other benefits. Passengers flying with TransNusa also enjoy generous baggage allowances, with a minimum of 20kg for checked luggage and 7kg for hand carry.

Ticket prices for TransNusa’s scheduled flights start from IDR 1,699,000, AUD 156, CNY 740, USD 110, and MYR 487. Prospective travelers can book tickets directly via transnusa.co.id or through trusted Online Travel Agents (OTAs). Passengers who book through OTAs are able to check in conveniently on the airline’s website.

Starting July 1, TransNusa will add an additional scheduled flight, 8B 082, departing from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Bali at 12:55 PM and arriving at Perth Airport (PER) at 4:55 PM. The return flight, 8B 083, will leave Perth at 6:05 PM and land in Bali at 9:50 PM.

The airline will maintain its existing DPS-PER service, flight 8B 080, which departs Bali at 9:10 AM and arrives in Perth at 12:50 PM. The corresponding return flight, 8B 081, leaves Perth at 1:35 PM and arrives back in Bali at 5:20 PM.

For these international services, TransNusa will operate its Airbus A320 aircraft, featuring 174 seats, with a typical flight duration of approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes.

Beyond the Bali-Perth corridor, TransNusa also runs scheduled flights connecting Bali with Guangzhou, China, expanding its international reach.

According to company representatives, TransNusa offers one of the shortest transit times in the region, with a maximum layover of two hours between its Perth-Bali and Bali-Guangzhou flights, facilitating smooth and efficient travel connections.

“For West Australians looking for a more adventurous vacation, they can spend some time in Bali and jet across to Guangzhou to experience places such as Gulong Gorge skywalk glass bridge,” Datuk Francis added.

Datuk Bernard emphasized that TransNusa’s international flights deliver premium service combined with competitive fares. The airline enhances the travel experience through appealing product packages named SEAT, SEAT-PLUS, and FLEXI-PRO, designed to offer added value to passengers.

“For the highest package, FLEXI-PRO, we provide more complete services such as free baggage 30kgs, free to choose seats, free food, and drinks, priority at check-in and boarding. In addition, TransNusa also provides its FLEXI-PRO passengers with the ability to be able to change their flight schedule without restrictions and obtain refund when needed.

TransNusa Aviation Mandiri is doubling its Bali-Perth flights to 14 weekly, meeting rising travel demand. This expansion boosts connectivity and offers more flexibility for travelers between these key destinations.

“We are committed to providing affordable and competitive ticket prices, while still providing premium services to our customers.” concluded Datuk Bernard.
