This week in Frankfurt, 27 tour operators from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland are exploring Ireland’s tourism offerings during a B2B workshop hosted by Tourism Ireland in collaboration with VisitBritain. A contingent of 32 Irish tourism enterprises is engaging in this significant event, interacting with tour operators who either currently contribute to tourism on the island or are considering adding Ireland to their destinations.
The workshop features approximately 860 scheduled meetings, culminating in a networking event. This provides Irish businesses a prime platform to present and promote their offerings, aiming to secure contracts for 2025 and beyond.
Tourism Ireland, along with its Irish partners, is seizing the opportunity to highlight the array of attractions that Ireland offers to potential visitors—ranging from its stunning landscapes and cultural heritage to its excellent cuisine, beverages, and top-tier attractions and outdoor activities.
Nadine Lehmann, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for Germany, said:“We’re delighted to partner with VisitBritain to bring together these key travel professionals from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, to do business with our partners from the island of Ireland this week. Our aim is to connect our partners with the influential tour operators who bring valuable tourists to the island of Ireland and who are now contracting for 2025 and beyond.”
