SSP has secured a seven-year deal to operate its first food and beverage outlets at Vilnius Airport, launching in 2025 and expanding its presence in Lithuania.

SSP, a global leader in the food and beverage sector, has secured its first contract in Lithuania, marking the beginning of a seven-year partnership at Vilnius Airport. Under the agreement, SSP will open six new outlets at the Baltic hub, with the first set to debut in 2025. The company’s success in Estonia paves the way for this expansion, which will also tap into its strong presence in the Nordic region.

The new units will feature a blend of SSP’s signature brands alongside well-known franchises like Burger King, as well as a unique local concept designed specifically for Lithuania, called Vilnius Bar & Bistro – Le Grand Comptoir. The offerings are tailored to cater to both the predominantly local travellers (who make up 80% of the airport’s passengers) and international visitors, providing a diverse selection of food options for quick bites and relaxed dining alike.

The Vilnius Bar & Bistro – Le Grand Comptoir, located landside, will offer an authentic Lithuanian experience alongside international favourites. With its 1930s art-deco design, the space will reflect both the city and the country’s cultural identity. Meanwhile, Factory Bar and Kitchen will cater to individuals and families with ample seating across two levels, a craft beer selection of ten draught options, and an additional 20 bottled varieties. Alongside this, SSP will also introduce a Burger King, a new style Ritazza café, an Upper Crust, and a Soul + Grain bakery. This will be the first airport location to showcase these new concepts in one venue.

Located just 6 km from downtown Vilnius, the airport serves not only the city’s 600,000 residents but also passengers from across the Baltics. With 24/7 flight operations to popular destinations such as Germany, Italy, and the UK, nearly half of the airport’s passengers are leisure travellers.
