Scoot launches direct Vienna-Singapore flights from June 2025, offering seamless travel on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and boosting Southeast Asia connectivity.
Scoot, the low-cost arm of Singapore Airlines (SIA), is set to enhance connectivity between Europe and Southeast Asia with the launch of direct flights between Vienna, Austria, and Singapore. Beginning June 3, 2025, these flights aim to provide travelers with more convenient travel options and exceptional value.
The service will operate three times weekly aboard the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, which accommodates 329 passengers across two cabin classes: Scoot Economy Class and Scoot Plus. This move positions Scoot as the sole airline offering a non-stop connection from Vienna to Singapore, catering to travelers seeking to explore Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
European adventurers can look forward to experiencing Singapore’s vibrant mix of culture, cutting-edge attractions, and world-class cuisine. With Singapore serving as a gateway to the broader Asia-Pacific region, these flights are expected to attract a diverse array of tourists and business travelers.
Additionally, Scoot is expanding its footprint in the Philippines with the launch of flights to Iloilo City on April 14, 2025. These services, operated on the 112-seater Embraer E190-E2 aircraft, will commence with twice-weekly flights before increasing to four times weekly by June 2025.
This expansion highlights Scoot’s commitment to providing greater connectivity and affordable travel options, reinforcing its role as a key player in the region’s aviation sector.
