Raffles Hotels & Resorts is excited to unveil the long-awaited Raffles Sentosa Singapore, marking the nation’s debut all-villa resort. Nestled across 100,000 square meters of vibrant tropical greenery on Sentosa Island, this extraordinary retreat is the result of a partnership with the Royal Group. It seamlessly combines the island’s stunning natural surroundings with world-class service, further enhancing the legacy of the iconic Raffles brand, which was established in Singapore in 1887.

“Through the debut of this resort, we are introducing an elegant all-villa offering on Sentosa Island, where guests can immerse themselves in nature while embracing tranquility and wellbeing. We look forward to creating magical moments in an exquisite setting, highlighting the beauty of this unique island destination while delivering exceptional hospitality,” said Omer Acar, CEO, Raffles Hotels & Resorts.

“This is a very special moment for us as we proudly launch Raffles Sentosa Singapore, the Republic’s first all-villa resort,” said Bobby Hiranandani, Co-Chairman of the Royal Group.  “We are honoured to have been entrusted with continuing the distinguished Raffles legacy, particularly here in Singapore where this iconic brand was born and still has such a special place in everyone’s hearts.”

Nestled just 15 minutes from the heart of the city’s Central Business District, Raffles Sentosa Singapore is perched atop a hill on Sentosa Island, Asia’s first Global Sustainable Tourism Council-certified destination. This serene retreat features 62 luxurious villas, each with a private pool and outdoor terrace. The villas vary in size, from the intimate 211-square-metre one-bedroom villa to the expansive 650-square-metre Royal Villa. Floor-to-ceiling windows open up to breathtaking views of the island’s lush greenery, while a masterful mix of natural materials and textured finishes fosters a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. Guests are immersed in the tranquil landscape, home to unique wildlife like heritage Ficus trees and a charming resident peacock flock. The world-renowned Raffles Butler service ensures that every guest’s needs are attended to with meticulous attention to detail. For a grand arrival, guests may choose to be chauffeured up the winding driveway in one of the resort’s Rolls-Royce limousines.

The resort places a strong emphasis on holistic wellbeing, with every aspect crafted to inspire relaxation. The Raffles Sentosa Spa, located within a transformed heritage building, boasts 13 treatment rooms and offers a contemporary wellness experience. Ideal for rejuvenation, treatments combine mindfulness, massage, fitness, and hydrotherapy. Guests will also have access to an extensive fitness centre and receive preferential green fees at the nearby Sentosa Golf Club, as well as direct access to the pristine Tanjong Beach.

A dining destination in its own right, Raffles Sentosa Singapore offers five outstanding restaurants and lounges, each highlighting global culinary expertise. At Empire Grill, guests can indulge in modern Italian dishes under the direction of Chef Bjoern Alexander, while Royal China serves up exquisite Cantonese cuisine led by Executive Chinese Chef Ling Heng Yao. For a truly unique experience, Iyasaka by Hashida offers an exceptional Japanese omakase, guided by Chef Kenjiro Hashida, whose skill matches that of his Michelin-starred Tokyo-based father’s restaurant. Afternoon tea is elegantly served in the Raffles Room, and for an air of exclusivity, the Chairman’s Room offers a curated selection of fine whiskies, cognacs, and wines. Guests can also choose to dine outdoors by their private villa pool, in the resort’s tranquil gardens, or along the secluded shores of Tanjong Beach. The Sentosa Sling, a signature cocktail made from upcycled watermelon skin and lemon leaves from the resort’s gardens, puts a sustainable twist on the iconic Singapore Sling first created at Raffles Singapore in 1915.

As a premier destination for weddings and events, Raffles Sentosa Singapore offers state-of-the-art ballrooms, with the largest accommodating up to 400 guests for grand banquets. With the island’s natural beauty as a stunning backdrop, the resort provides an idyllic setting for unforgettable celebrations and special occasions.

“We look forward to welcoming guests and local visitors to enjoy Raffles Sentosa Singapore, a distinct retreat in one of the world’s most exciting cities. While just a short distance from Central Singapore, this private sanctuary offers a serene escape where guests can connect with nature while indulging in the world-class hospitality for which Raffles is renowned,” said Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale, Cluster General Manager of Raffles Sentosa Singapore and Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa.

To mark its grand opening, the resort is offering an exclusive Welcome Home experience for guests. This package features private roundtrip transfers, daily breakfast for two at the Empire Grill, and a complimentary Sentosa Sling. Available for bookings from March 1 to May 31, 2025, the offer is valid for stays up to September 30, 2025. Rates start at A$2,000 per villa per night, excluding a 10% service charge and applicable government taxes.

Raffles Sentosa Singapore becomes the brand’s second location in the city. Established in 1887, Raffles made its debut with Raffles Singapore, which continues to be a hallmark of the renowned brand, a premier global hotel, and a symbol of the destination.
