The grand opening of SpringHill Suites aligns with the debut of the new Iron Tee Golf attraction, an advanced indoor sports facility, and multiple commercial centers near the hotel. Designed to cater to athletes and visitors, the hotel will immediately begin accommodating youth sports teams participating in tournaments at the TBK Bank Sports Complex.

Frontier Hospitality Group (FHG) has a strategic partnership with Plex Travel, which manages lodging for teams competing at the TBK Bank Sports Complex. Additionally, FHG maintains close ties with the facility’s owners, JP Sports, Iron Tee Golf, and the surrounding commercial developments. Alongside the Cambria Hotel, another FHG property, SpringHill Suites will play a key role in meeting the hospitality needs of sports teams and their families for years to come.

The Plex area is also drawing a growing number of business travelers, who are taking advantage of its prime location in the expanding Quad Cities region. The area boasts a wide range of amenities, including retail outlets, restaurants, and entertainment venues, making it a preferred destination for both leisure and corporate guests. With direct interstate access, visitors staying in the Plex area can conveniently reach all parts of the Quad Cities.

SpringHill Suites features a versatile meeting space that can accommodate up to 50 attendees, an indoor pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and complimentary hot breakfast served daily. The hotel will also offer beer, wine, and pre-packaged mixed drinks available for purchase in the market area. The décor is fresh and contemporary, with guest rooms outfitted with stylish West Elm furniture to enhance the comfort of every stay.

This marks FHG’s third hotel in partnership with Marriott International and its first venture under the SpringHill Suites brand. Looking ahead, the company has announced plans to begin construction on a 100-room Hampton Inn in East Peoria, Illinois, starting in April 2025.

Russell Construction of Davenport served as the general contractor for the project. To commemorate the launch, FHG will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration on Tuesday, April 1.
