The Philadelphia Department of Aviation has named Milton Robinson as the new Vice President of Facilities Maintenance for Philadelphia International Airport and Northeast Philadelphia Airport. In this leadership role, Robinson will be responsible for managing the maintenance and upkeep of the airports’ extensive facilities, spanning landside areas, terminals, and airfield operations.

“I am very excited to appoint Milton Robinson as the Vice President of Facilities Maintenance. He has extensive knowledge of our airports and has effectively guided our operations through post-pandemic challenges. He has been instrumental in increasing our employee count and he is always seeking innovative solutions,” said Atif Saeed, CEO of the Department of Aviation. “As we prepare for major events that will bring additional visitors from around the world through our airports, his expertise and strong relationships with the entire operations staff will be invaluable.”

Milton Robinson previously served as Interim Vice President, where he led a robust program focused on streamlining operations and worked closely with airport stakeholders to build strong, collaborative partnerships. With over 20 years of experience in the facilities industry, including 13 years as part of the Department of Aviation’s leadership team, Robinson brings extensive expertise to his role. His career at the airport began as a custodial operations manager, followed by promotions to enterprise asset manager and later airport facilities manager.

Robinson holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Organizational Management. He is certified in Project Management and HVAC and is currently working toward a certification in Construction Management.

Beyond his professional achievements, Robinson is deeply committed to his community. A longtime volunteer, he started as a Little League football coach and has since progressed to officiating high school and college football, a role he takes great pride in.
