North Dakota Governor Kelly Armstrong and North Dakota Tourism have unveiled a revitalized “Hello ND” marketing campaign, introducing a fresh, traveler-focused approach to inspire visitors. The campaign highlights the state’s welcoming communities and abundant, uncrowded outdoor adventures, aligning perfectly with the rising trend of slow and immersive travel experiences.

“Effective tourism marketing not only attracts visitors but also plays a key role in broader economic development by enhancing North Dakota’s image as a great place to live, work, and do business,” said Governor Armstrong. “This new campaign showcases our state’s unique offerings and friendly atmosphere to a wider audience.”

The 2025 “Hello ND” campaign stands out with its authentic, unscripted video content capturing spontaneous, in-the-moment comments. Filmed across 15 locations in 2024, the campaign showcases breathtaking aerial views of North Dakota’s vast landscapes and unique tourism opportunities, creating an immersive visual experience.

“What sets North Dakota apart is the authenticity and genuine spirit of our people, and the 2025 ‘Hello’ campaign captures this perfectly,” said Tourism and Marketing Director Sara Otte Coleman. “Through unscripted interactions and breathtaking visuals, including sweeping aerial views, the campaign extends a warm invitation to experience our great state.”

Complementing the campaign, North Dakota Tourism has launched two official guides: the 2025 Travel Guide and the 2025 Hunting and Fishing Guide. The Travel Guide features stunning imagery and user-friendly information to inspire exploration of the state’s outdoor adventures, rich history, vibrant culture, and diverse communities. Expanded itineraries now cover experiences spanning multiple days and spotlight over 250 North Dakota communities. Meanwhile, the Hunting and Fishing Guide offers a comprehensive overview of fishing hotspots, hunting seasons, and outfitter resources, created in collaboration with North Dakota Game and Fish.

Building on the success of the 2024 campaign, which generated over 438 million impressions and boosted website traffic by 30%, the 2025 “Hello ND” campaign aims to broaden its reach through digital advertising, social media, outdoor TV, and sponsorships, engaging travelers throughout the year with an enhanced, immersive approach.
