Norse Atlantic Airways continues its positive growth trajectory, reporting a record-breaking load factor of 90% in October—a 15-percentage point increase from the same period last year.

The airline carried 118,502 passengers during the month, marking a 16% year-over-year rise across 410 flights, including 50 charter operations.

Norse Atlantic also achieved a remarkable completion rate, successfully operating 99% of scheduled flights, with 74% of these arriving within 15 minutes of their scheduled time.

This milestone coincided with Norse Atlantic’s inaugural direct service between London and Cape Town, an addition expected to strengthen travel links between the UK and South Africa.

The inaugural flight sold out, demonstrating strong demand for competitive, high-value flights on a route previously limited in options for travelers.

“It is a pleasure to report our highest ever load factor in just under two and a half years since our first flight,” said Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO and Founder of Norse Atlantic.

“Our London-Cape Town launch was a testament to the need for great value and comfortable flights on this route, and we look forward to a busy winter season welcoming even more passengers across our network.”

With strong growth in passenger numbers and operational efficiency, Norse Atlantic is positioned for a robust winter travel season, continuing to expand its reach and service quality for travelers worldwide.
