On September 7th, Hong Kong Air Cargo launched its new route connecting Hong Kong and Budapest. The airline joins Cargolux and Ethiopian as the third operator on this route, using the Airbus A330-200(F). The flight operates twice a week, with a stopover in Almatý on the outbound leg and a non-stop return.

This new route highlights Hong Kong Air Cargo’s efforts to bolster trade relations between Hong Kong and Hungary, a rapidly growing trade hub in Central Europe. Chairman of Hong Kong Air Cargo, Gary Zhan, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch, calling it “a significant milestone for the company” and a major facilitator of trade between the two regions.

Air India: Expanding into Malaysia

Air India launched its first-ever route to Malaysia, with flights between Delhi and Kuala Lumpur starting on September 15th. The daily flights are being operated using a mix of Airbus A320-200 and A320neo aircraft, configured for 152-186 passengers.
