Modernism Week’s CAMP will serve as the vibrant epicenter for guests from February 13-23, 2025. This dynamic hub returns to the strikingly designed Hyatt Palm Springs, conveniently located at 285 N. Palm Canyon Drive, offering complimentary underground parking. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout Modernism Week, CAMP welcomes the public free of charge.
As the central departure and arrival point for Modernism Week’s renowned Double Decker Architectural Bus Tours, CAMP will also feature an exciting lineup of daily talks and presentations at the Modernism Week Theater. Nestled within the Hyatt in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, CAMP will provide an array of engaging experiences, including insightful discussions, film screenings, an information desk, the Modernism Week store curated by Destination PSP, and all-day food and beverage options from Hyatt. Visitors can also explore a 20-year visual timeline celebrating Modernism Week’s rich history, enjoy exclusive book signings, and more.
Adding to the festivities, two lively Friday Afternoon Fun events will take place each week, complete with themed costume contests and complimentary hors d’oeuvres. Additionally, guests can browse sponsor showcases from leading brands such as Ferguson, Brizo, Dunn-Edwards Paints, Monogram, and Flor.

Special Events
Opening Day Celebration & Proclamation by the City of Palm Springs
On Thursday, February 13, at 10 a.m., Palm Springs Mayor Ron deHarte will commemorate Modernism Week’s 20th anniversary with a special proclamation at the Hyatt atrium’s south entrance. This milestone celebration recognizes two decades of Modernism Week as a globally recognized festival.
Friday Afternoon Fun – Themed Costume Contests
Guests can step back in time with two lively Friday Afternoon Fun events featuring themed costume contests, hosted by the fabulous Bella da Ball. Whether competing for best-dressed or simply soaking in the retro vibes, attendees can celebrate in vintage fashion.
- February 14 – Jet Set Chic: Channel the luxury of 1960s air travel with mod dresses, pillbox hats, aviator sunglasses, and chic travel accessories.
- February 21 – Poolside Set: Embrace classic Palm Springs resort style with flowing kaftans, cabana sets, and vintage swim accessories.
The contest kicks off at 2:30 p.m. each Friday, with prizes awarded for the most creative and stylish looks. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served, and a full bar will offer cocktails, wine, and other beverages for purchase.

Video Lounge

Mahjong enthusiasts can gather for two afternoons of play on Sunday, February 16, and Monday, February 17, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the CAMP Video Lounge. Both Chinese and American versions of this midcentury tile game will be available. Guests can bring their own sets or use those provided. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newcomer, this free event welcomes all skill levels. A vintage Mahjong tile display will also be showcased near the CAMP Theater.
