The Meetings Industry Association (MIA) proudly announced the winners of the highly anticipated miaList 2024 during a vibrant ceremony held last night in Liverpool. This event celebrated the exceptional individuals, organizations, and teams that embody excellence in the business meetings and events sector.

This year’s competition was intense, reflecting a remarkable year of record-breaking nominations. Industry peers gathered at the Hilton Liverpool City Centre, following the annual miaSummit, to honor the outstanding talent that drives the sector forward. The celebratory atmosphere highlighted the achievements, skills, and contributions of these remarkable nominees.

A particularly poignant moment of the evening was the presentation of the Special Recognition Award to Figen Murray, a relentless advocate for public safety following the tragic loss of her son in the 2017 Manchester Arena terrorist attack. Figen’s commitment to implementing Martyn’s Law aims to deter potential threats in public spaces, showcasing her determination to make a lasting impact in the community.
