The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board is set to make a significant appearance at FITUR Madrid 2025, a major international travel trade show, scheduled from January 22-26, 2025 at IFEMA – Feria de Madrid. As the centerpiece of Incredible India, the state’s exhibit will focus on showcasing its vast cultural history, innovative eco-tourism efforts, and tourism that involves the community, providing a deep and genuine travel experience.

Situated in Hall 6, at Stand No. 6B05, the exhibit for Madhya Pradesh will present the state’s vast array of tourist sites, beckoning visitors to discover its UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the majestic Khajuraho temples, the prehistoric Bhimbetka rock shelters, and the historic Sanchi stupa. These sites are testaments to the region’s architectural and historical richness.

The showcase will also emphasize Madhya Pradesh’s dedication to eco-friendly tourism with its renowned wildlife sanctuaries including Kanha, Bandhavgarh, and Satpura National Parks. These areas provide unique opportunities to observe India’s diverse wildlife and are pivotal in promoting environmentally responsible travel that benefits ecosystems and local communities alike.

At FITUR, there will be a strong emphasis on the state’s community-oriented tourism with genuine homestay experiences in rural settings like Ladhpura Khaas, Kokhra, and Sabarwani. These engagements offer insights into the simple yet enriching rural lifestyle, benefiting the local dwellers directly. Furthermore, the state’s adventure tourism options, such as cycling, wildlife safaris, and hiking, will be promoted alongside its rich cultural events like the Khajuraho Dance Festival, Tansen Music Festival, and Lokrang.

The delegation from Madhya Pradesh will be led by Mr. Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi, the Honorable Minister of State for Culture, Tourism, and Religious Trusts. Key team members include Mr. Vivek Jude, Deputy Director of Marketing and Events at Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Dr. Ilayaraja Thangamuthu, Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation, and Dr. Jeevan Singh Rajak, Officer on Special Duty to the Minister.

Joining them will be prominent figures from the local tourism industry such as representatives from Travel India Tourism Pvt. Ltd., MP Incoming, Quality India Tours Pvt. Ltd., and NCSHA Luxury Travel. Together, they will connect with international tour operators, travel agents, and the media to cultivate new collaborations and broaden Madhya Pradesh’s global outreach.
