The GalaxyArt gallery at Galaxy Macau has been transformed into a vibrant visual paradise with the launch of the Boom and Bloom Exhibition, running until 9 March 2025. This free-entry showcase is a delightful fusion of art, culture, and interactive fun, featuring whimsical installations perfect for capturing Instagram-worthy moments.
Marking their first-ever collaboration, the exhibition brings together two renowned artistic talents—Shenzhen’s Ray Chan and Macau’s Cultural Ambassador Sanchia Lau. Their creations blend traditional Chinese cultural motifs with contemporary design elements. Highlights include Lau’s Wishing Doll and Chan’s Shake Money Tree, merging to represent love, prosperity, and ambition through playful yet symbolic artistry.
Three exclusive masterpieces debuting in Macau are:
- Joy and Glory: A glimmering installation adorned with golden ingots and pearl-inspired accents, symbolising wealth and success.
- Boom and Bloom: An interactive golden tree that releases symbolic gold ingots when shaken, inviting prosperity.
- A Propitious Omen: A lotus-themed artwork reflecting harmony, love, and positive energy.
Curated by Gary Mok, the 6,500-square-foot gallery has been reimagined as a tranquil Chinese garden, featuring vibrant blooms and architectural elements inspired by tradition. The whimsical design provides a magical setting for visitors to immerse themselves in art and capture unforgettable moments.
Guests can explore a variety of experiences at the newly opened art boutique, featuring exclusive collectible items, take selfies in creatively designed photo zones, and participate in engaging art workshops held regularly.
