K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel is capitalizing on the rising demand for premium pet care services by expanding its presence in Connecticut through a significant multi-unit franchise agreement. The acclaimed pet boarding and daycare brand is set to open three new locations in the state, spearheaded by the experienced entrepreneurial team of Andrew, Sandra, and Robert Heath.

The initial two resorts will be established in Fairfield and New Haven counties, with a third location planned for Hartford county. This expansion will enhance K9 Resorts’ presence in Connecticut, where it already enjoys success with its Stamford location.

The Heath Family Driving the Expansion:

Andrew Heath – Co-founder of the philanthropic sock and apparel company Bombas, Andrew played a pivotal role in turning the brand into a household name while serving as CFO and COO for over a decade. He also co-founded Regalis Foods, a specialty food company known for its high-end ingredients. With extensive experience in building startups and managing financial strategies for over 20 years, Andrew brings invaluable expertise to the K9 Resorts system.

Sandra Heath – A marketing veteran with over 20 years of experience, Sandra initially honed her skills in the agency world before transitioning to the client side. Her expertise lies in developing brand strategies and driving consumer engagement.

Robert Heath – As a first-generation immigrant and lifelong entrepreneur, Robert set a high industry standard when he founded Fibar, a leading playground safety surfacing company. His strong operational knowledge and business acumen will play a critical role in the Heath family’s expansion into the pet care sector.

“K9 Resorts isn’t just another pet care service, it’s a revolutionary brand that combines luxury, cleanliness and professionalism,” said Andrew. “Dogs have always been a big part of our life, and K9 Resorts is the perfect opportunity to bring my family’s expertise into an industry that brings people joy.”

K9 Resorts is at the forefront of the luxury pet care franchise industry, with over 170 resorts across 28 states either operational or in development. As the pet boarding industry is projected to reach $35.8 billion by 2031, K9 Resorts is well-positioned to strengthen its market leadership with its established and successful franchise model.

“My brother and I founded K9 Resorts to provide the best pet care experience to dogs, and having accomplished entrepreneurs such as the Heath family recognize the value our services provide is truly rewarding,” said Jason Parker, Co-Founder and CEO of K9 Resorts. “We’re incredibly excited to welcome Andrew, Sandra and Robert to the K9 Resorts team.”

K9 Resorts is actively looking for both single and multi-unit owners to introduce luxury pet boarding and daycare services to their communities.
