IndiGo Airlines launched new direct flight services connecting Hyderabad with Ayodhya and Kanpur on Friday. Additionally, the airline will begin flights from Hyderabad to Prayagraj and Agra starting on Saturday.

Earlier, on September 24, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) officials announced that IndiGo would introduce six direct flights from Hyderabad to cities including Agartala, Kanpur, Agra, Jammu, Prayagraj, and Ayodhya.

Flights to Ayodhya are scheduled to operate four times a week—on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday—departing from Hyderabad at 1:55 PM and arriving in Ayodhya at 4:05 PM. This service comes after a three-month break, following the discontinuation of SpiceJet’s direct flights on June 1.

For Kanpur, the airline will also offer four weekly flights, departing RGIA at 8:55 AM and reaching Kanpur by 11:00 AM. Flights to Prayagraj will run three times a week, leaving Hyderabad at 8:55 AM and arriving at 10:50 AM.
