IHCL enhances its leadership in Goa with Vivek Batra as GM of Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon and Anmol Pancholy as Hotel Manager of Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage.

Goa’s premier hospitality operator, Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), has announced strategic leadership appointments to further enhance its luxury offerings in the region. Mr. Vivek Batra has been named General Manager of Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, while Mr. Anmol Pancholy steps into the role of Hotel Manager at Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage.

Vivek Batra: A Proven Leader in Luxury Hospitality

Bringing a wealth of experience from his tenure with ITC Hotels’ Luxury Collection, Vivek Batra has made significant contributions to the industry. His journey with IHCL began at Taj Bangalore as Director of Food & Beverage, where he played an instrumental role in crafting world-class dining experiences.

He later transitioned to The Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Mumbai, leading the food and beverage division at IHCL’s flagship property. His exceptional leadership skills and operational expertise earned him the position of Hotel Manager at Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage, where he further honed his ability to drive excellence in hospitality.

In his new role as General Manager at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, Vivek is set to leverage his deep understanding of luxury hospitality, ensuring elevated guest experiences and operational excellence. His strategic vision, people-centric leadership, and commitment to innovation will continue to strengthen IHCL’s presence in Goa’s competitive tourism landscape.

Anmol Pancholy: A Rising Star in Hospitality Leadership

A seasoned professional with a dynamic career spanning multiple luxury brands, Anmol Pancholy began his journey with IHCL as a Management Trainee. After completing the program, he gained expertise in sales and marketing, leading successful teams at Taj Krishna, Hyderabad, Gateway Nashik, and Taj Falaknuma Palace.

Expanding his horizons, he transitioned to Accor Group as Director of Sales at Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre and Hyderabad International Convention Centre. His leadership acumen further led him to The Leela Bhartiya City Hotel, where he served as Director of Sales & Marketing before advancing to Director of Operations at The Leela Hyderabad.

Now stepping into his new role as Hotel Manager at Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage, Anmol is set to bring fresh perspectives, innovative strategies, and a guest-centric approach. His deep understanding of operations, strategic vision, and ability to foster high-performing teams position him as a valuable asset to the IHCL leadership team. In this role, Anmol will report directly to Vivek Batra, ensuring seamless operations and an enhanced guest experience at the heritage property.
