
IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a landmark partnership with Strategic Alliance to bring its iconic InterContinental brand to the heart of South Australia’s Barossa Valley, renowned for its world-class wineries. Scheduled to open in 2028, the InterContinental Barossa Resort and Spa will become the first international-branded luxury hotel in one of Australia’s most celebrated wine regions.
Set amid the picturesque landscape of rolling hills and expansive vineyards, the 150-room resort will offer guests unrivaled views of the Barossa Valley, combined with luxurious accommodations and exceptional amenities.
The resort will include a range of dining options, a cellar door, and state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring it becomes a prime destination for wine enthusiasts and luxury seekers alike.
