The city generated over VND140 trillion from tourism services in the first nine months, up 11.9% year-on-year, reaching 73.9% of its annual revenue goal.

To attract more visitors, particularly international tourists, Ho Chi Minh City introduced unique tourism offerings across Thu Duc City and various districts, focusing on waterway, cultural, historical, agricultural, ecological, night-time, and MICE tourism.

The second river festival in May highlighted the city’s cultural and historical heritage, enhancing its image as a vibrant riverside urban center. Additionally, the annual Ao Dai Festival in March showcased the city’s culture and tourism to both domestic and international audiences.

This year, the city aims to welcome six million international visitors and 38 million domestic tourists, targeting a total revenue of VND190 trillion.
