Frontier Airlines an ultra-low-fare carrier, proudly announces its recent recognition with the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Diamond Award of Excellence for 2024. This prestigious honor represents the highest level of achievement for Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) and their employers, recognizing an unwavering commitment to maintenance training and safety.

Earning this distinction requires 100% of the airline’s eligible maintenance technicians to complete advanced FAA-developed safety training throughout the year.

Frontier has significantly enhanced its Technical Operations training program, modernizing its curriculum, introducing new courses, adopting innovative training techniques, and implementing a structured on-the-job proficiency validation program. These advancements aim to ensure a world-class training framework, equipping Frontier’s AMTs with the expertise needed to maintain the airline’s operational excellence.
