Flyadeal introduces affordable travel insurance with Tawuniya, starting at SAR12, alongside new routes and summer expansions, enhancing its growing network.

Saudi Arabia’s budget airline, flyadeal, has broadened its services with the introduction of travel insurance in partnership with leading insurer Tawuniya. Designed to provide peace of mind for travelers, these insurance packages start at SAR12 for a single trip or SAR19 for a round trip, covering unexpected events such as medical emergencies, trip cancellations, missed flights, baggage loss, and personal accidents.

The introduction of travel insurance is part of flyadeal’s continuous efforts to enhance its offerings. Recent additions also include Hold Fare, a feature that allows passengers to lock in ticket prices for 24 hours to avoid fare fluctuations, and Adeal Membership, an annual domestic travel plan providing fixed monthly ticket prices for a yearly subscription.

Abdullah Adel Alahmadi, flyadeal’s Ancillary Product Manager, emphasized the importance of accessible travel insurance, stating:
“Many travelers assume insurance is costly, but that’s not the case. Through our partnership with Tawuniya, we are offering affordable coverage tailored to individual needs, starting at just SAR12 per trip.”

Expanding Reach Across the Region

As one of the fastest-growing airlines in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, flyadeal has been aggressively expanding its network in 2025. The airline recently launched new routes connecting Dammam with Tabuk, Najran, and Yanbu, as well as new services from Riyadh and Jeddah to Amman, Jordan, and Karachi, Pakistan.

With the summer season approaching, flyadeal will further extend its reach by reinstating five popular seasonal destinations and adding Salalah, Oman, to its network for the first time. Beginning June 19, 2025, the airline will resume flights to Trabzon (Turkey), Baku (Azerbaijan), Tbilisi (Georgia), Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt), and Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

A Growing Fleet and Network

Established just seven years ago, flyadeal now operates over 30 domestic and international routes spanning the Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. The airline’s fleet consists of 37 Airbus A320 aircraft, operating from its key hubs in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.

With its commitment to affordability, convenience, and service innovation, flyadeal continues to redefine low-cost travel in the region.
