FlixBus, the renowned German intercity bus operator, has introduced a fresh route linking Bengaluru with Alappuzha. Departing from Bengaluru at 8:35 PM, the bus reaches Alappuzha at 10:05 AM the next morning. For the return trip, buses leave Alappuzha at 7:30 PM and arrive in Bengaluru by 9:25 AM the following day.
The route features convenient stops at Krishnagiri, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrissur, and Kochi. Travelers can secure their seats for ₹1400 by visiting the official FlixBus website.
Expanding its network in South India, FlixBus has introduced a new route to Goa, offering fares starting at ₹1600 from Bengaluru. This addition reflects FlixBus’s dedication to connecting popular tourist destinations while ensuring affordable, eco-friendly, and comfortable travel options for passengers.
The launch of these routes aligns with the company’s growth strategy in South India, particularly catering to travelers during festive seasons and special occasions. In September, FlixBus began its operations in the region with routes linking Bengaluru to Chennai, Hyderabad, Madurai, and Coimbatore.
As part of its broader expansion plan, the company aims to extend its services to 33 cities, including various destinations across Kerala. Operations are conducted in partnership with local bus operators, marking a significant step in FlixBus’s efforts to solidify its presence in southern India following its success in the northern market.
