Wizz Air is launching exciting new routes from Katowice Airport to Denmark, Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Spain, the UK, and Germany this winter.

Wizz Air is set to introduce new flights between Katowice Airport and Billund, Denmark, starting this winter. The service will operate three times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—as part of the airline’s expanded seasonal network.

Looking ahead to the “Summer 2025” season, Wizz Air’s Katowice Airport hub will feature 26 routes spanning 16 countries. Travelers will have the opportunity to fly from Katowice to various destinations, including Albania (Tirana), Bulgaria (Burgas), Croatia (Split), Cyprus (Larnaca), Georgia (Kutaisi), Germany (Dortmund), Greece (Athens, Corfu), Iceland (Reykjavik), Italy (Catania, Naples, Pisa, Rome-Fiumicino), Malta, Moldova (Chișinău), Montenegro (Podgorica), the Netherlands (Eindhoven), Portugal (Madeira), Spain (Alicante, Barcelona, Fuerteventura, Madrid, Malaga, Tenerife), and the United Kingdom (Liverpool, London-Luton).

Katowice Airport ranks as one of Poland’s largest regional airports. In 2024, it reached a remarkable 6.39 million passengers, and projections for 2025 suggest it will surpass 7 million, marking a historic milestone. Known for leading in charter traffic and being one of Poland’s busiest cargo airports, Katowice Wojciech Korfanty Airport continues to be a vital hub for air travel in the country.
