China Southern Airlines has officially entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Royal Air Maroc, Morocco’s flag carrier and largest airline, signaling a new era of aviation cooperation designed to bridge China and the African continent.

This landmark agreement is focused on boosting network synergy between China and Africa, aiming to expand bilateral cooperation and respond to rising travel demand between China and Morocco. The partnership intends to unlock broader opportunities across multiple sectors of aviation.

China and Morocco have launched a new aviation alliance to enhance air connectivity and boost tourism between the two nations and beyond. The partnership aims to drive economic growth and facilitate greater cultural exchange.

As part of the MoU, both airlines will jointly enhance operations in passenger travel, air cargo logistics, and third-party aviation services. The alliance is expected to deliver more streamlined, efficient, and high-quality travel experiences for passengers.

The collaboration follows Royal Air Maroc’s resumption of direct services between Morocco and China. On January 20, RAM reinstated its Casablanca–Beijing route, operating three times per week. This vital route is expected to bolster Moroccan tourism, facilitate business exchanges, and strengthen the economic bridge between the two nations.
