Cancellation Policies for Expeditions/Customised Trips

 

Case 1 : If the Trip is cancelled by The Travellers Nest
  • In case the Trip is cancelled by The Travellers Nest due to any unavoidable Circumstances like Bharat bandh, Road block, natural calamity, landslides etc we will provide a Trip Coupon where you can opt for the same Trip or a different for a period of one year. in case you want to change the Trip the amount you paid previously will be adjusted if the new Trip cost is greater than the cancelled Trip and if the new Trip cost is less the remaining amount will be refunded.
  • In Case of Booking of less than 3 members and the Trip is cancelled due to no further trekker available, the customer will get full refund and will get a discount coupon of 10%. The Coupon can be used only once for a period of one year.

 

Case 2 : If the Trip is cancelled by the customer
  • If the Trip is cancelled by the customer prior to 30 days of booking date – 100 % Amount will be refunded i.e. no cancellation Fees.
  • If the Trip is cancelled by the customer between 15-29 days of booking date – 70 % Amount will be refunded.
  • If the Trip is cancelled by the customer between 7-14 days of booking date – 50 % Amount will be refunded.
  • If the Trip is cancelled by the customer between 1-6 days of booking date – No Amount will be refunded.

 

Cancellation Policies for Weekend getaways

 

Case 1 : If the weekend getaway is cancelled by The Travellers Nest
  • In case the Weekend Getaway is cancelled by The Travellers Nest due to any unavoidable Circumstances like Bharat bandh, Road block, natural calamity, landslides etc we will provide a Getaway Coupon where you can opt for the same or different getaway Destination for a period of one year.
  • In case you want to change the Getaway destination the amount you paid previously will be adjusted if the new getaway Destination cost is greater than the cancelled Destination Cost and if the new Getaway Destination Cost is less than the remaining amount will be refunded.

 

Case 2 : If the Weekend Getaway is cancelled by the customer
  • If the Weekend Getaway is cancelled by the customer prior to 30 days of booking date – 90% Amount will be refunded
  • If the Weekend Getaway is cancelled by the customer between to 7-29 days of booking date – 50 % Amount will be refunded.
  • If the Weekend Getaway is cancelled by the customer between 1-6 days of booking date – No Amount will be refunded.

 

Note :- In Case of seat transfer to a friend
  • You can anytime transfer your seat to your friend but he / she has to fulfill all the formalities before the day of the Event.
  • Replacement would not be applicable on any public transport booked for original participant, in that case booking for new member has to be done again.

 

Refunds are initiated and will reach to your account between 1 -14 working days of cancellation
