IHG Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with Strategic Alliance, is thrilled to announce their groundbreaking partnership to introduce the world’s premier and largest luxury hotel brand to one of Australia’s iconic wine destinations. This partnership marks the signing of the InterContinental Barossa Resort & Spa.

Set to open in 2028, pending planning approval, this will be the first luxury branded hotel in South Australia’s renowned wine region. The 150-room resort will offer an exceptional blend of luxury and sophistication, nestled amidst the picturesque hills and expansive vineyards of the famous Barossa Valley. Every guest room will provide breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, with select rooms offering private balconies that overlook the stunning vineyards and cellar doors.
