
Australia launches Experience Australia, a stunning global TV series using NECI footage to showcase its natural beauty and adventures to over 96 million viewers worldwide.
Spectacular footage from the National Experience Content Initiative (NECI) has been brought to life in a new global television series titled Experience Australia, designed to position the country as a leading international travel destination.
The series was produced by The Precinct, using high-quality content gathered through NECI, an initiative that equipped more than 1,500 tourism operators across Australia with professionally captured imagery and video to boost their marketing efforts.
Tourism Australia’s Managing Director, Phillipa Harrison, shared her enthusiasm for this new chapter in NECI’s evolution, highlighting the opportunity to showcase the country’s breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, and unforgettable experiences to a global audience.
Experience Australia will premiere on the Outdoor Channel, a network with expansive reach—broadcasting in 58 countries and available in over 96 million homes throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The series will span two seasons, each comprising ten half-hour episodes.
This powerful initiative strengthens Australia’s image as a premier destination for immersive travel experiences, combining cinematic storytelling with real, on-the-ground adventures to inspire wanderlust worldwide.
