Australia celebrates the arrival of Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter, enhancing Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet and offering exciting new voyages from Sydney and Brisbane.

Carnival Cruise Line has officially welcomed two new ships, the Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter, to its fleet ahead of their maiden voyages from Sydney and Brisbane.

These additions have solidified Carnival’s position as Australia’s leading cruise operator, further expanding its presence in the region.

Previously known as the Pacific Adventure and Pacific Encounter, the ships have been revamped to feature Carnival’s signature attractions while preserving beloved elements from P&O Australia.

The Carnival Adventure was officially introduced to the fleet in a ceremony in Sydney, hosted by Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy. A second ceremony will be held in Brisbane, the homeport of the Carnival Encounter, before both ships set sail on their inaugural voyages.

With the addition of these two vessels, Carnival now operates 29 ships, marking the largest fleet in its 53-year history. Together with the Carnival Splendor and Carnival Luminosa, the line expects to sail over 500,000 guests from Australian homeports this year.

The Carnival HubApp is now available on both the Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter, allowing guests to easily book dining, excursions, and activities, as well as connect with fellow travelers. Guests will also enjoy membership in Carnival’s VIFP Club, with access to exclusive perks and promotions.
