Today, the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) and the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) declared that Aqaba has been selected as the venue for the 11th Annual Destination Wedding Planners (DWP) Congress. The announcement came during a press conference held in Aqaba with the attendance of media from around the globe.
Scheduled for October 7-9, 2025, the congress is set to attract over 500 participants from beyond 70 nations. The event is organized by QNA International, a leading B2B entity for the global destination wedding sector.
The partnership agreement was inked by Eng. Hamza Haj Hasan, Deputy Chief Commissioner and Commissioner for Economic Development and Tourism at ASEZA, and Sidh NC, Managing Director of QnA International, in the company of Dr. Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, Managing Director of the Jordan Tourism Board. Representatives from the Official Venue, Ayla Oasis, and the Official Hotel, Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla, also attended, underscoring their collaboration in hosting the event.
Previously held in global hotspots like Athens, Mauritius, and Dubai, the DWP Congress aims to highlight Aqaba as a top-tier wedding destination, promising exceptional hospitality, cultural richness, and memorable experiences.
