Alexandra Resort in Turks and Caicos welcomes new leadership as it undergoes major renovations, with a grand reopening set for October 16, 2024.

Alexandra Resort, a premier all-inclusive destination on the world-renowned Grace Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos, has announced the appointment of three key leaders to its team. Aleisa Musgrove-Walkin has been named General Manager, Hermian Griffith joins as Assistant General Manager, and Sovan Das takes on the role of Executive Chef. These leadership changes coincide with a significant renovation project currently underway, which includes upgrades to guest rooms, the lobby, the Sand Piper Kids Club, and the Elevate Spa.

Aleisa Musgrove-Walkin, with over 16 years of experience in hospitality leadership, will lead resort operations, focusing on enhancing guest satisfaction, boosting revenue, and elevating Alexandra Resort’s brand profile both locally and internationally. Musgrove-Walkin also serves on the Board of Directors for the Turks and Caicos Hotel & Tourism Association and was honored with the prestigious Hotelier of the Year award in 2018.

Assistant General Manager Hermian Griffith brings more than 15 years of senior leadership experience in the hospitality sector. Collaborating closely with Musgrove-Walkin, Griffith will oversee the resort’s daily operations. With deep expertise in the Caribbean hospitality market, Griffith is committed to exceeding guest expectations and fostering a positive work environment for staff.

Executive Chef Sovan Das, with over 20 years of global culinary experience, will lead the resort’s 12 dining outlets. Chef Das is passionate about cultivating strong relationships and enhancing the resort’s culinary offerings. His expertise in delivering exceptional dining experiences will ensure Alexandra Resort continues to set high standards in its all-inclusive culinary options. Chef Das has also served as a member and judge of the World’s Chef Society since 2019.

The resort is set to reopen on October 16, 2024, following its extensive renovation, poised to deliver an even more elevated experience for guests.
