Grand Opening Press Conference and Cultural Extravaganza

Leading Albania’s presence at ITB Berlin, Prime Minister H.E. Edi Rama and Minister of Tourism and Environment H.E. Mirela Kumbaro Furxhi will officially inaugurate the host country’s participation with a press conference on 3 March at 10 a.m. at the Marshall-Haus. This will be followed by a grand opening ceremony at CityCube Berlin at 6 p.m., featuring an awe-inspiring cultural showcase highlighting Albania’s artistic heritage, music, and dance.

Among the major highlights of the opening ceremony are performances by Shkodra Elektronike, Albania’s Eurovision 2024 representatives, UNESCO-recognized traditional music ensembles, and breathtaking performances by the Albanian National Ensemble. Guests will also experience traditional dances such as “Kcimi i Tropojës” (Dance of Tropoja), the Sword Dance, and the Dance of Osman Taka.
