AirAsia is revolutionizing brand communication by stepping into the entertainment world with the debut of its very own Thai girl group, Véra (เว-ร่า). Marking an exciting milestone, this fresh project showcases the airline’s cabin crew and guest service Allstars, who will now shine on stage as pop idols. For the first time, five talented women are making a seamless transition from their roles at AirAsia to the spotlight as part of this groundbreaking initiative.

The official debut of Véra will take place at the heart of Bangkok, at Siam Square, on March 21, 2025, with their debut single, “TICK-TOCK (Say It)”. The song carries a powerful message urging listeners to value time, seize the moment, and make bold decisions rather than waiting for something that doesn’t feel right. This empowering anthem emphasizes AirAsia’s core value of “being on time,” aligning perfectly with the airline’s reputation as Thailand’s most punctual airline.

Ms. Tansita Akrarittipirom, Director of Commercial at Thai AirAsia, shared that this year, AirAsia is integrating Music Marketing into its branding strategy to connect with a wider audience, particularly Gen Z, who are highly engaged with T-POP.

She explained, “At AirAsia, we encourage our employees to showcase their talents in all aspects. The debut of ‘Véra’ allows them to bring their hidden potential to the stage.”.

“By merging two of AirAsia’s strengths—our commitment to time and our multi-talented Allstars team—we created ‘Véra.’ We’re confident that this project will resonate with younger audiences and bring fresh energy to the brand. Every member of Véra represents our dedicated operations team, reflecting the efficiency and punctual service that AirAsia provides to all passengers.”

The group consists of five incredibly talented women who have already made their mark at AirAsia. Each member brings a unique set of skills to the stage, captivating their audience with their diverse talents and personalities. The members of Véra are as follows:

  • “Pleng” Thanissa – The group’s leader and main vocalist, a former member of the successful girl group GAIA. She is the daughter of the legendary artist Suae Thanapol, bringing a rich musical heritage to the group.
  • “Min” Yasumin – Known for her sweet and versatile vocal talent, Min brings both charm and depth to Véra.
  • “Mind” Dolaya – A bold and stylish rapper, Mind is known for her high-energy performances and electrifying stage presence.
  • “Aimma” Nopnapa – As the visual and main dancer, Aimma leaves audiences in awe with her flawless choreography and magnetic stage presence.
  • “Genne” Kanyakorn – The youngest member of the group, Genne exudes confidence and determination, eager to carve her own path in the music industry.

Although they are stepping into the world of entertainment, the five members will continue their essential roles as AirAsia cabin crew and guest service staff, proving that they can balance both their passion for music and commitment to providing excellent service to passengers.

The group’s music is produced by Benlussboy, a well-known T-POP producer, while the music video for “TICK-TOCK (Say It)” is directed by Best Nattha. Rising Entertainment has played a key role in developing Véra, making this launch a significant step not only for AirAsia but also for the Thai entertainment scene.

This debut marks an exciting moment for both the airline and the entertainment industry, as Véra is poised to capture the hearts of audiences, blending the world of aviation with the glamour of the music industry. As Véra takes the stage, AirAsia’s bold venture into the world of pop culture signifies the airline’s continuous innovation in brand communication.
