Airports Council International (ACI) World has launched a new publication, Airport Commercial Digital Transformation Best Practices, aimed at supporting airports in their journey toward digital transformation, crucially enhancing the passenger experience and optimizing commercial potential.

The release of this guide underscores the significance of airport commercial revenues, which represent nearly 40% of total global airport income, essential for funding infrastructure improvements and enhancing service quality.

The publication, designed for airport executives, provides strategic insights to maximize revenue in an evolving digital marketplace.

The unveiling took place at the 21st Trinity Forum, the foremost global event focused on airport commercial revenues.

This year’s forum, co-organized by The Moodie Davitt Report, ACI World, and ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East, is hosted by Airports Corporation of Vietnam and Imex Pan Pacific Group.

Justin Erbacci, Director General of ACI World, emphasized the importance of commercial revenues: “These non-aeronautical revenues are vital for infrastructure upgrades, enhancing passenger experience, and ensuring economic stability.

By embracing digital transformation, airports can unlock innovative revenue opportunities, establish new partnerships, and future-proof their operations in a competitive environment.”
