
Saudi Arabia’s fastest-growing low-cost airline, flyadeal, has announced a major summer 2025 network expansion, unveiling six exciting seasonal routes, including a new service to Salalah, Oman, and the return of five highly sought-after travel destinations.
Effective June 19, 2025, flyadeal will introduce Salalah to its growing route map, alongside the resumption of seasonal services to Trabzon (Turkey), Baku (Azerbaijan), Tbilisi (Georgia), Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt), and Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
The airline, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia), will operate 13 routes across these six summer destinations, departing from its key hubs in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam. The flights will be available for booking through flyadeal’s mobile app, website, and travel agents.
Strengthening Saudi Arabia’s Aviation Industry
flyadeal’s summer network expansion marks another milestone in the aviation industry, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to enhancing air connectivity in line with Vision 2030.
By growing its seasonal and year-round route offerings, flyadeal is increasing accessibility for both leisure and business travelers, providing affordable travel options to emerging and popular destinations.
CEO Steven Greenway highlighted the airline’s dedication to meeting consumer demand during peak travel periods:
“This time of year is always anticipated as travelers look forward to our seasonal offerings. We are thrilled to bring back some of our most popular summer destinations while adding Salalah, an exciting new destination for our network.”
With further expansion plans expected, flyadeal’s seasonal network promises to offer adventurous and culturally enriching experiences for holidaymakers during the busy school holiday season.
Salalah: A Stunning New Destination in Oman
Among the six summer destinations, Salalah stands out as a new addition, bringing Oman’s breathtaking landscapes and monsoon season to flyadeal’s portfolio. Known for its Khareef monsoon season (June to August), Salalah transforms into a lush, green paradise, offering:
- Scenic mountain landscapes with waterfalls and lush greenery
- White sand beaches along the Indian Ocean
- Rich cultural heritage, including frankincense markets and Omani handicrafts
Salalah’s unique geography and cooler summer climate make it a highly sought-after retreat for travelers looking to escape the heat while experiencing authentic Omani culture.
Expanding International and Domestic Connectivity
With the addition of Salalah and five returning destinations, flyadeal’s international footprint grows from 7 to 13 year-round and seasonal destinations, covering regions across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and South Asia.
The airline’s year-round international network includes:
- Amman, Jordan
- Cairo & Sohag, Egypt
- Istanbul, Turkey
- Dubai International & Dubai World Central, UAE
- Karachi, Pakistan
flyadeal is also expanding its domestic operations, with new routes launching on March 30, 2025, to include:
- Al Jouf
- Gurayat
- Arar
This brings its total domestic network to 19 cities, reinforcing its role as a key airline for travel within Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East region.
Expanding the Fleet: Preparing for Future Growth
flyadeal’s summer routes will be operated by its modern Airbus A320 fleet, ensuring passengers experience affordable yet high-quality air travel.
Looking ahead, flyadeal has ambitious growth targets:
- Tripling its network by 2030
- Expanding to over 100 destinations
- Operating a fleet of more than 100 aircraft
