Raffles Hotels & Resorts is excited to unveil the long-awaited Raffles Sentosa Singapore, the nation’s inaugural all-villa resort. Nestled within 100,000 square metres of vibrant tropical gardens on Sentosa Island, this remarkable property, developed in partnership with the Royal Group, seamlessly integrates stunning natural surroundings with world-class service. It also honors the prestigious legacy of the iconic Raffles brand, which was established in Singapore in 1887.
“Through the debut of this resort, we are introducing an elegant all-villa offering on Sentosa Island, where guests can immerse themselves in nature while embracing tranquility and wellbeing. We look forward to creating magical moments in an exquisite setting, highlighting the beauty of this unique island destination while delivering exceptional hospitality,” said Omer Acar, CEO, Raffles Hotels & Resorts.
“This is a very special moment for us as we proudly launch Raffles Sentosa Singapore, the Republic’s first all-villa resort,” said Bobby Hiranandani, Co-Chairman of the Royal Group. “We are honoured to have been entrusted with continuing the distinguished Raffles legacy, particularly here in Singapore where this iconic brand was born and still has such a special place in everyone’s hearts.”
Located just 15 minutes from the Central Business District, Raffles Sentosa Singapore is nestled atop a hill, surrounded by the lush, vibrant landscape of Sentosa Island, the first destination in Asia certified by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. This exclusive resort, designed by Yabu Pushelberg, boasts 62 luxurious villas, each featuring a private pool and an outdoor terrace. The villas range from a one-bedroom unit covering 211 square meters to the opulent four-bedroom Royal Villa, spanning 650 square meters. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views of the abundant greenery, while natural materials and rich textures blend seamlessly, creating a harmonious connection between the indoor and outdoor environments. This thoughtfully crafted design draws guests into the tranquility of the surrounding landscape, home to notable flora such as two historic Ficus trees and the resort’s resident peacocks. The renowned Raffles Butler service ensures that each guest’s needs are met with the utmost care, and those seeking an elevated arrival can travel up the resort’s scenic driveway in one of the Rolls-Royce limousines.
Wellbeing takes center stage at the resort, where every aspect is designed to foster a peaceful, rejuvenating atmosphere. The Raffles Sentosa Spa, housed within a beautifully restored heritage building, offers 13 treatment rooms and a comprehensive wellness experience. Ideal for spa enthusiasts or those simply seeking relaxation, the treatments incorporate mindfulness, massage, fitness, and hydrotherapy to promote deep rejuvenation. Guests also have access to an expansive fitness center and enjoy exclusive green fees at the nearby Sentosa Golf Club, as well as direct access to Tanjong Beach.
Raffles Sentosa Singapore is poised to become a premier dining destination, featuring five remarkable restaurants and lounges that celebrate an array of global flavors and culinary artistry. At the signature Empire Grill, led by Chef Bjoern Alexander, diners can indulge in modern Italian dishes, while Royal China offers an exquisite Cantonese menu curated by Executive Chinese Chef Ling Heng Yao. For an exceptional Japanese experience, Iyasaka by Hashida presents an omakase journey with Chef Kenjiro Hashida, whose skill mirrors that of his Michelin-starred Tokyo restaurant. The Raffles Room provides a refined atmosphere for the brand’s iconic afternoon tea, and the Chairman’s Room evokes the spirit of classic speakeasies, offering an impressive selection of whiskies, cognacs, and fine wines. Guests can also enjoy dining outdoors by their private villa pool, within the lush resort gardens, or on a secluded stretch of Tanjong Beach. Additionally, visitors can savor the Sentosa Sling, a sustainable twist on the classic Singapore Sling, created using upcycled watermelon skin and lemon leaves from the resort’s gardens, embodying the hotel’s commitment to eco-conscious practices.
Raffles Sentosa Singapore will also serve as an exceptional venue for weddings and events, with its cutting-edge ballrooms—one of which can accommodate up to 400 guests for banquets—and the breathtaking natural surroundings, providing an unforgettable setting for milestone moments and celebrations.
“We look forward to welcoming guests and local visitors to enjoy Raffles Sentosa Singapore, a distinct retreat in one of the world’s most exciting cities. While just a short distance from Central Singapore, this private sanctuary offers a serene escape where guests can connect with nature while indulging in the world-class hospitality for which Raffles is renowned,” said Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale, Cluster General Manager of Raffles Sentosa Singapore and Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa.
To commemorate its grand opening, the resort invites guests to experience the exclusive Welcome Home package, featuring private round-trip transfers, daily breakfast for two at Empire Grill, and a complimentary Sentosa Sling. This offer is available for bookings from March 1 to May 31, 2025, for stays through September 30, 2025, with prices beginning at $1,698 SGD per villa per night. The rate is subject to a 10% service charge and applicable government taxes.
