Hyatt’s Andaz Doha redefines luxury with breathtaking design, exclusive residences, and world-class dining, offering a unique and immersive experience in Qatar’s West Bay.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) has officially launched Andaz Doha, the highly anticipated lifestyle hotel brand’s debut in Qatar. This marks the fourth Hyatt property in the city, expanding the hospitality giant’s presence in the region.

Situated in the prestigious West Bay area, Andaz Doha is a mere 20-minute drive from Hamad International Airport, offering easy access to key cultural landmarks. Guests can explore renowned attractions such as the City Center Doha Mall, the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center (DECC), Souq Waqif, and the Katara Cultural Centre, making it the perfect location for those seeking both luxury and cultural immersion.

A Stylish Fusion of Tradition and Luxury

Designed by Brime Robbins, Andaz Doha introduces a distinctive blend of Qatari heritage and contemporary luxury. The hotel’s concept celebrates local traditions, with design elements reflecting the country’s rich culture. A palette of gold, rose gold, and bronze is used throughout, symbolizing Qatar’s opulence, while maroon accents honor the Qatari flag. One of the most striking features of the hotel is the ‘Airlock’ entrance, an immersive experience with kaleidoscopic lighting that mirrors Doha’s dynamic landscape. The lobby, with its traditional Sadu weaving-inspired canopy, adds another cultural layer, along with a replica of the Katara pigeon tower, which nods to Qatar’s historic use of messenger birds.

The hotel’s décor further incorporates geometric mosaics, woven textiles, calligraphy, and disruptive art, enriching the guest experience with a deep connection to the local culture.

Guest Rooms and Residences with Unmatched Comfort

Andaz Doha boasts 312 rooms, suites, and residences, each thoughtfully designed with a modern take on Qatari heritage. Spanning 26 floors, the rooms offer expansive city or sea views, with 19 square-meter bathrooms featuring separate bathtubs and showers. The rooms are adorned with locally sourced materials, including patterned cushions inspired by the Qatari ‘Al Sadu’ weaving technique, adding a personal touch to each stay.

The hotel also features 56 long-term residences, ranging from one to three bedrooms, catering to those seeking a luxurious, home-like atmosphere. Ranging from 100 to 300 square meters, the residences are equipped with walk-in wardrobes and are designed with hues of cream, amber, and gold, ensuring both elegance and comfort. Residents benefit from dedicated parking spaces, exclusive elevators, and full access to hotel amenities, including the gym, spa, and pool.

A Culinary Journey with Global Flavors

Dining at Andaz Doha promises an exciting culinary adventure, with three signature concepts that explore diverse global cuisines. The Salt Road Doha, which has already opened, delves into the fascinating history of salt as one of the world’s oldest and most valuable ingredients.

Soon to open are Mr. & Mrs. Hawker, inspired by Singaporean Hawker Centers, which will feature a market-to-table experience along with an enclosed outdoor terrace offering breathtaking city and sea views. Also coming soon is Mumble Jungle, a vibrant space inspired by Afro-Cuban culture, where guests can enjoy creative cocktails and mocktails inspired by tropical rainforests.

Relaxation and Wellness at Alara Spa

For guests looking to unwind, the Alara Spa, named after the Arabic word for “water fairy,” provides a holistic wellness experience. Featuring six treatment rooms, separate male and female areas, a herbal sauna, and multi-sensory showers, the spa draws on ancient Arabic traditions while incorporating modern wellness practices. Additionally, fitness enthusiasts can enjoy the 24-hour gym, equipped with cardiovascular and strength-training equipment. A beautifully designed outdoor pool and a poolside bar will soon open, providing the perfect environment to relax and enjoy Doha’s year-round sunshine.

Versatile Social Spaces for Business and Leisure

Andaz Doha is not only a luxury hotel but also a dynamic venue for business and social events. The property offers 1,600 square meters of meeting space, including a grand ballroom that spans 750 square meters. The hotel also features the Andaz Lounge, a space designed for both productive work and private meetings. For guests interested in learning about the cultural heritage of Doha, the hotel includes four studio spaces. These spaces include The Calligrapher Studio, The Weaving Studio, The Architecture Studio, and The Navigator Studio, each inspired by different aspects of Qatari culture and craftsmanship.

Hyatt’s Expanding Lifestyle Portfolio in the Middle East

The launch of Andaz Doha marks another milestone in Hyatt’s expanding lifestyle brand portfolio in the Middle East. The new hotel joins a global network of Andaz properties in premier destinations such as London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, and Tokyo, bringing unique, culture-rich experiences to travelers seeking both luxury and authenticity.
