The Bihar State Road Transport Corporation has launched two new daily bus routes connecting Patna and Prayagraj, enhancing transportation options for travelers heading to the Mahakumbh Mela. Designed to accommodate the influx of pilgrims attending this grand spiritual gathering, these services will operate continuously until February 2025, ensuring smoother and more convenient travel for devotees.

To enhance accessibility for Mahakumbh Yatra, the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) has introduced two dedicated daily bus services linking Patna with Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. These buses aim to provide a seamless travel experience for devotees journeying to the Mahakumbh Mela. The service commenced on Friday and will remain operational until February 28, 2025. This initiative is focused on strengthening connectivity and ensuring a smoother journey for pilgrims undertaking the sacred Mahakumbh bath.

Travel Route and Schedule:

Each bus has a seating capacity of 42 passengers, ensuring a comfortable journey. The route will pass through key locations, including Ara, Mohaniya, and Varanasi, before reaching Prayagraj. Travelers can board the buses from two major departure points in Patna—Bankipur and Gandhi Maidan terminals.

Departure Timings:

  • Patna to Prayagraj: Departs at 8:30 PM, arriving at 4:00 AM the next day.
  • Prayagraj to Patna: Departs at 10:00 PM, reaching Patna by 5:00 AM.

Fare Details:

  • Ticket Price: ₹550 per passenger.

Booking Information:

Passengers can purchase tickets directly from the Bankipur bus stand counter, ensuring a hassle-free booking process for those traveling between Patna and Prayagraj.
