Alpha Win is thrilled to bring the Hudson Valley Marathon back to the stunning Walkway Over the Hudson on May 4, 2025. This annual race offers athletes a one-of-a-kind experience, running across the iconic bridge and onto the picturesque rail trail in the heart of the Hudson Valley. Now in its third year, the event is unveiling exciting new features, including Marathon prize money, a brand-new Run Club Challenge, and the return of valued event sponsors.

For the first time, the Marathon will offer cash prizes to the top five overall male and female finishers. The first-place winners will take home $1,000, with $750 awarded for second place, $400 for third, $250 for fourth, and $100 for fifth.

Runners can choose from multiple distances, including the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile race—all of which start on the world’s longest elevated pedestrian bridge, the Walkway Over the Hudson. The Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K courses extend onto the scenic Dutchess County Rail Trail, offering a flat and shaded route perfect for a memorable race day.

“We are excited to be partnering again with the Walkway Over the Hudson, Dutchess County, and the Hudson Valley Rail Trail,” says CEO and race director Tommy Struzzieri. “We are proud to provide the community with a fun and exciting way to be active.”

This year’s event introduces the Run Club Challenge, inviting running clubs from across the tri-state area to compete for exclusive rewards, discounts, and ultimate bragging rights. Using a cross-country scoring system, each club’s top five finishers in the Marathon and Half Marathon will earn points based on their placement, with the lowest total score determining the winning team.

Alpha Win is also excited to welcome back a strong lineup of returning sponsors, including Naccarato Insurance, Imedview, Ulster County Tourism, Morgan Stanley, M&T Bank, Clapper Structural Engineers, Pepsi, Northwestern Mutual, Markertek, Royal Carting, and Binnewater.
