Sun Country Airlines

Sun Country Airlines and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) have successfully reached an Agreement in Principle for a new collective bargaining agreement (CBA) that will cover approximately 800 flight attendants employed by the airline.

With this initial agreement in place, both Sun Country and IBT will now collaborate to finalize the detailed terms of the CBA. Once the final document is completed, the proposed agreement will be presented to the airline’s flight attendants for a ratification vote, expected to take place next month.

This development marks a significant step in strengthening labor relations between Sun Country Airlines and its flight crew, ensuring improved working conditions and operational stability for the airline. The agreement reflects the ongoing commitment of both parties to achieving fair and beneficial employment terms for the workforce while supporting the airline’s continued growth and service excellence.

“We have tremendous respect and appreciation for Sun Country flight attendants. This Agreement in Principle reflects the important role they play in keeping our passengers safe and delivering on Sun Country’s promise of a friendly, hassle-free travel experience. I also want to thank the IBT Negotiating Committee for their hard work and collaboration in reaching this agreement,” said Greg Mays, Sun Country Airlines Chief Operating Officer.
