MSC Cruises opens bookings for MSC World Asia, launching in December 2026. Sail the Western Mediterranean with immersive itineraries and top-tier amenities.
MSC Cruises has officially opened reservations for its newest World Class ship, MSC World Asia, which is scheduled to debut in December 2026.
The ship will offer an immersive cruising experience in the Western Mediterranean, sailing both winter and summer itineraries that highlight some of the region’s most popular destinations.
Starting December 11, 2026, MSC World Asia will begin a series of seven-night voyages for the winter season, making stops in Barcelona (Spain), Marseille (France), Valletta (Malta), and three Italian ports—Genoa, Civitavecchia (for Rome), and Messina. Each location will serve as an accessible embarkation point, ensuring flexibility for travelers.
As the seasons change, the summer 2027 itinerary will adjust slightly, with weekly stops in Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Messina, and Valletta.
As the third vessel in MSC’s World Class fleet—following MSC World Europa and the soon-to-launch MSC World America—MSC World Asia continues the company’s focus on innovation and global appeal. The ship will run on liquefied natural gas (LNG), aligning with MSC Cruises’ sustainability efforts.
Designed with a modern aesthetic and subtle Asian influences, the ship will feature MSC’s signature plumb bow and a distinctive Y-shaped aft that leads to a spacious outdoor promenade. Onboard, guests will have access to more than 40 bars, lounges, and dining venues, along with top-tier entertainment and family-friendly attractions.
Bookings for MSC World Asia are now open. MSC Voyager’s Club members who reserve a spot by February 13, 2025, can enjoy exclusive perks, including:
- 1,000 extra membership points
- $50 onboard credit per person
- Additional Voyager’s Exclusives benefits, such as a 5% + 5% discount on early bookings (12+ months in advance), double membership points, and a $50 onboard credit for Silver status members
